Victoria Bell - KEVIHS Sports Personality of the Year 2011

BCR is delighted to be able to congratulate one of our Sponsored athletes, Victoria Bell, on being crowned the first ever Sports Personality of the Year at King Edward VI Handsworth School. The presentation was made at a special awards ceremony held in the school's magnificent hall. Victoria fought off tough competition from althetes in many other sports including National squad members in the sports of badminton and rhythmic gymnastics. The event was conceived by new Head of PE, Miss Webb and the Headmistress, Dr Elspeth Insch OBE said how proud she was to "... recognise the achievements and dedication of the girls who are a credit to themselves, to their parents and to King Edward VI Handsworth School".
