From time to time, registrations belonging to individuals or to deceased estates will be offered for sale at auction. Normally, there will be only a few offered in this way and on an infrequent basis.

that have not previously been issued. Auctions are not for the faint-hearted. It is not uncommon for individuals to catch "auction fever", get caught-up in the excitement of the moment and spend far more than they intended. The buying of

can involve many thousands of £s and so should be undertaken in the calmest and soberest of circumstances without the pressure of having to make a snap decision.
